Mike grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan. While participating in a high school youth group, he found his calling helping seniors. He later became a pastor, and the strong faith of older adults inspired him to make a career out of serving retirement communities.

Mike holds master’s degrees in divinity and business administration. He has previously served as executive director, president and CEO at continuous care retirement communities throughout the Midwest and the South.

With more than a decade of leadership experience, he guides our organization in supporting the lives of seniors. For Mike, serving residents means engaging in good conversation, sharing laughter, and helping them age healthfully and successfully.

Michael is a hands-on seasoned professional with over 30 years diverse experience ranging from a combat medic in the Army to his current position as the Chief Financial Officer. He has his MBA from Holy Family University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Nursing Home Administrator (NHA), Personal Care Administrator (PCA) and a Certified Professional in Aging Services Risk Management. He is also a graduate (Fellow) of the LeadingAge National Leadership Program and the LeadingAge Educator Program. Over the years Michael has also served as the Treasurer on the LeadingAge PA board and an Adjunct Professor at Holy Family University and Gwynned Mercy University.

Tammy is originally from London, England. Her great passion for senior care led her to Larksfield Place, where she began her career as a retirement counselor. From day one, she saw firsthand how the community provides residents with socialization, wellness and purpose.

As senior vice president of marketing, Tammy engages the community and the media to discover Larksfield’s innovative approach to senior living. She considers herself a lifelong student who loves learning about successful aging, and she uses her knowledge to help transform the lives of residents.

Tammy says she’s never had a bad day at Larksfield. Many residents depend on her to brighten their day, and she will drop everything to lend a hand or let them know how special they are.
